Today (11 March 2025) Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet meeting. An interesting agenda item today is that the Ministry of Energy will propose measures to reduce the burden of electricity costs for the people. This could be a guideline to reduce the electricity price by 17 satang per unit from the current period (January - April 2025) of 4.15 baht to only 3.98 baht, which is 4 baht lower than what Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister, once stated that there are channels that can be done.
